Instructions: Review your autobiography story board, bio-cube, and completed essay from the previous lesson to plan and transfer the information into one of the presentation formats chosen from the list below.
Requirements:
- You will be required to use at least one example of each figurative language element.
- You will be allowed to revisit and review all of the children’s books used in prior activities.
- You will be allowed to discuss your ideas in small groups and use peer feedback to develop your presentation.
What content or key ideas will you include?
- You must include all life events that were discussed in the autobiography essay.
- All images and sound clips must enhance the events in the autobiography.
- The project should be free of grammar and spelling errors
How will you present your project?
Project ideas:
- Voice Over Technology: You can type your essay using an application through Oddcast.com/tech, and convert the text to speech. You will be able to choose the language, voice, character, and effects. (Aronin, & O’Neal, 2011
- PowerPoint Game: You can convert your autobiography essay into a PowerPoint game. See http://people.uncw.edu/ertz bergerj/msgames.htm for samples.
- Comic Creator: You can use the ReadWriteThink’s Comic Creator that we used in the children’s literature activity and create a comic strip or graphic novel. Go to http://www.readwritethink.org/files/resources/interactives/comic/
- Interactive Online Time Lines You can create an interactive online timeline which can also be converted into a flipbook using Dipity.com
- Prezi: You can create a prezi presentation at http://prezi.com

- Presents accurate information about your topic
